Dirtless Rice

A Cajun-style rice skillet loaded with beef and fresh parsley — all the flavor, none of the 'dirt'.

Made with Reynolds Ranch Ground Beef · Skillet + rice

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Reynolds Ranch Ground Beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ cup celery, diced
  • ½ cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil
  • Salt, black pepper & red pepper, to taste
  • Water
  • 1 cup long-grain rice, cooked according to package directions

Instructions

  1. 01Brown the meat: crumble the ground beef in a skillet and cook until done. Drain and set aside. Discard the grease and wipe the skillet clean.
  2. 02Sauté the vegetables: add the cooking oil to the skillet and sauté the onion, green onions, celery, and bell pepper until they begin to soften and turn clear.
  3. 03Add the parsley: lower the heat, add the parsley and about 3 tablespoons of water, stirring until combined. Cover and let it steam until the parsley is cooked.
  4. 04Combine: add the cooked beef back in and heat thoroughly.
  5. 05Add the rice: stir in the cooked rice and mix thoroughly.
